The most interesting detail is crossbow with “old-fashioned” composite bow. These were used in 15 century (one is even illustrated is Keiser’s “Belifortis”) but their depictions are rare.

Crossbow bolts on display – Soesten Osthofentor museum

Crossbow bolts were stored in town’s arsenals by thousands. Sometimes they were preserved even after crossbows were outdated abd replaced by firearms, allowing to create impressive museum exibition like this one.
